Doris Cruze Holden Murray – age 82 of Mascot passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and a faithful member of Clear Springs Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husbands, Fred K. Holden, Jr. and Joe W. Murray; daughter, Janice Ann Holden; parents, Lloyd and Hazel Cruze; twin sister, Dorothy Carter; and brother, John Cruze. Survived by daughters, Karen Roberts and husband Ernie, and Kaye Bacon; son, Kim Holden and wife Kim; grandchildren, Kara Robertson, Kristy Phillips, Justin Walker, Josh Walker, and Sarah Womac; great grandchildren, Holden and Baylee Phillips, and Raygan and Carson Robertson; and sister, Mary Beth Armstrong. Special thanks to the loving staff at Heritage Assisted Living. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Friday, April 4, 2014, at Clear Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Hartsell McCurry officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Clear Springs Baptist Church, 3709 Clear Springs Road, Mascot, TN 37806. Family and friends will meet 10:45 AM on Saturday at Clear Springs Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Friday at Clear Springs Baptist Church.
