Funeral rites for Ray Oakley, 54, will be held at the Erbe-Hoffmann Funeral home here Saturday at 9:30 a.m. and at St. Boniface Episcopal church at 10 o’clock. The Rev. A. E. Pflaum will officiate and burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.

Mr. Oakley died at St. Elizabeth hospital, Appleton, Tuesday at 12:17 a.m. after an illness of about two months.
He was born March 8, 1888 received his school in the town of Chilton and later engaged in farming. He was married to Miss Bertha Kuster Oct. 5, 1910. The ceremony took place at the Reformed church here.

He is survived by his wife and two sons, Alfred of Hilbert and Walter of Chilton; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Baeckman, Manitowoc; four brothers,(sic) Claude, Brothertown; William, New Holstein; Chester, Kiel; Ernest, Fond du Lac; and Donald, Kiel; five sisters, Mrs. Jos. Anders, Oshkosh; Mrs. Ed Schneider, New Holstein; Mrs. Berton Hoffman, Stockbridge; Mrs. Art Phillips, New Holstein; and Mrs. Dick Phillips, Stockbridge.
