Ernest Oakley of this city died Saturday at Fond du Lac. He had been ill for some time.
He was born in the town of Chilton Jan. 6, 1893 a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Oakley. He never married.
He attended school in the town of Charlestown and followed the occupation of farming.
Survivors include four brothers, William of Chilton, Claude and Chester of Mt. Calvary, and Donald of Lomira; five sisters, Mrs. Joseph Anders of Oshkosh, Mrs. Edmund Schneider of Kiel, Mrs. Berton Hoffmann of Stockbridge, Mrs. Violet Phillips, of Fond du Lac and Mrs. E. Karls of Dotyville.
Funeral services were held at the St. Boniface Episcopal church here with the Rev. E. R. Webster officiating. Burial was in Hillside cemetery.
