Age 80, passed away peacefully at his home in Arizona, surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, March 12, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer. George was born on July 26, 1934 on the Erickson famiy farm, to Marlin and George Erickson, Sr., He spent more than 50 years in the asphalt paving business. George worked for Rein, Schultz & Dahl as a general superintendent and later owned and operated his own company, Erickson Paving. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and American Legion, and a 47 year member of the Masonic Lodge of Wisconsin. George served in the US Army from 1956 to 1958. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Cynthia Marie; nine brothers; and one step-son, Larry Landreth.
