Orville J. Greuel, age 90, of St. Anna, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at the Willowdale Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, New Holstein. He was born on March 29, 1925 in St. Cloud, son of the late Alvin & Irene (Voelker) Greuel.

Orville worked for over 40 years at Lauson, Hart-Carter and Tecumseh Products Co. in New Holstein. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army serving his country during World War II. Orville was a member of St. Ann Parish, St. Anna and the New Holstein American Legion, Post #124.

He is survived by two sisters; Vivian Baker and Joanne Riesterer and three brothers: Melvin (Mary Ellen) Greuel, Glenroy (Theresa) Greuel and Oliver (Rita) Greuel. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Kathleen and two brothers-in-law: Harvey Baker and Wilfred Riesterer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 6:00 pm at St. Ann Catholic Church, (N188 School St., St. Anna) with Fr. Larry Abler, OFM, Cap., officiating. A time of visitation will be held at the church from 4:00 pm until the time of service. Military honors will be conducted by the New Holstein American Legion following the services. Entombment will take place at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum Park, Manitowoc.

Orville's family would like to extend their thanks to Calumet County Hospice and the nurses and staff at Willowdale Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for the wonderful care he received.
