Genevieve L. “Bonnie” Weston, age 77, of 15900 Highway B, Mishicot, died Saturday morning, August 13, 2016 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
The former Genevieve L. Garrigan was born on September 14, 1938 in Grimms, daughter of the late Leland and Lillian (Conjursky) Garrigan. She graduated in 1956 from Arlington Heights High School in Illinois. On November 14, 1958, Bonnie was married to John E. Weston at Newbern, NC. The couple moved to Manitowoc in 1961. In the past Bonnie worked at Naidl Chiropractic in Manitowoc. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mishicot.
She is survived by her husband: John Weston, Mishicot; three sons and daughters-in-law: Michael (Zhijing Chen) Weston, Two Rivers; Mark (Mary) Weston, Mishicot; John (Peggy) Weston, Manitowoc; one daughter and son-in-law: Kelly (Keith) Free, Manitowoc; nine grandchildren: Joshua (Krista) Weston; Samantha Weston; Danyang Zhu; Courtney Weston; Chelesa Weston; Brandon Weston; Brooke Weston; Brittany (Tyler) Morrow; Weston (Stephanie) Free; three great grandchildren: Greyson Weston; Jax and Scarlet Morrow; one brother: Guy Garrigan, Two Rivers; one sister; Wava Grosshuesch, Manitowoc; two half-sisters and two brothers-in-law: Carla (Russ) Guilette, Casco; Ida (Glenn) Cosentino, Manitowoc, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Leland and Lillian Garrigan, three brothers: Richard Garrigan; Jimmy Garrigan; Jack Garrigan; one sister and brother-in-law: Betty (Don) Smith.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 19, 2016 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 423 South Main Street, Mishicot. The Rev. John Becker will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with cremation to follow and burial of her cremated remains at a later date at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Tisch Mills.
