Kirby, the son of James and Emeline Kirby, on October 16, 1870 in Elba, Gratiot County, Michigan. Citing “Michigan, Marriages, 1868-1925,” index, FHL microfilm 2,342,451.

Citing US Census Records for 1880, 1900 and 1910 they had ten known children; Myron, Alva (Alvin, Alvia, Alvie), Emeline, Albert (Bert), George, Celia, William (Willie), John, Jay and Alice.

Julia Ann Kirby passed away March 16, 1919 in Owosso, Michigan, citing “State of Michigan Certificate of Death”. Informant was son, Alva Kirby. Burial was in Eureka Cemetery.
