Norbert L. Jetzer, 62, of 4947 Indian Hills Dr., Racine, a former Sheboygan businessman, died Tuesday (Sep 21, 1976) at St. Mary Hospital in Racine.
Born Jan 7, 1914, in Sheboygan, a son of Joseph and Agnes Junck Jetzer, he married Madeline Bruder of Sheboygan at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church on May 7, 1941.
Mr. Jetzer owned and operated the Jetzer 5 & 10 cent store in the 1200 block of Union Ave, in Sheboygan for 25 years. He moved to Racine in 1966 where he has since operated a 5 & 10 cents store.
During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Northside Businessmen’s Association.
Survivors are his widow; four sons, Wayne and Dennis, both of Racine, Gary of Milwaukee, and Mark of Lake Mills; two daughters, Mrs. James (Geanne) Risch of Port Washington and Miss Carol of Racine; six grandchildren; three brothers, Joseph and Carl of Sheboygan and Robert of Tampa, Fla., and three sisters, Mrs. Olivia Ney and Mrs., Loretta Ney, both of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Lucy Evanoff of Sheboygan Falls.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson.
The funeral Mass will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Racine. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Racine. (Sheboygan Press, Wisconsin-Wed, Sept 22, 1976)
