Lucia was born on August 26, 1902, in Sheboygan, the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes Yunck (Junck) Jetzer. She attended Holy Name Elementary school in Sheboygan and graduated from Sheboygan Business College.
On Jun 2, 1932, she married Demo Evanoff at Holy Name Catholic Church in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death on July 3, 1981. They owned and operated the EVANS stores from 1936 until their retirement in 1965.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sheboygan Falls and of the Christian Mothers. She resided in Pompano Beach, Fla. during the winters and was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Pompano Beach.
Survivors include one daughter, Elaine (David) Forbes, Town of Sheboygan; two sons, Allan (Heidi) Evanoff, Manitowoc and Edmund (Cynthia) Evanoff, Sheboygan Falls; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Olivia Ney, Milwaukee; two brothers, Robert (Janet) Jetzer, Tampa, Fla. and Carl (Gloria) Jetzer, Sheboygan. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister and two brothers.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Howard Johnson as celebrant. Burial will be made in Calvary Cemetery, Sheboygan.
