Born March 31, 1872, in the town of Hika, a son of the late Lawrence and Veronica Jetzer, early settlers in the area, he came to Sheboygan with his parents as a young boy.
His marriage to Agnes Junck was solemnized to Holy Name Church on Nov 27, 1896, by the late Rev. Msgr. Domine F. Thill. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1946.
Mr. Jetzer was a faithful member of Holy Name parish, the Holy Name Society, treasurer of the St. Boniface Society for many years, and a member of the Liederkranz Singing Society.
Survivors are three daughters: Mrs. Joseph (Olive) Ney and Mrs. William (Loretta) Ney, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Demo (Lucia) Evanoff, Sheboygan Falls; four sons, Joseph, Robert, Norbert and Carlos, Sheboygan, and 27 grandchildren.
