Mrs. Agnes Jetzer, 72, wife of Joseph Jetzer, Sr., 1418 Huron Ave., died suddenly this morning at St. Nicholas Hospital.
A life-long resident of Sheboygan, Mrs. Jetzer was born Dec 8, 1874, the daughter of Martin and Emma Junck, early settlers in this vicinity. She attended the Holy Name parochial school.
Her marriage to Mr. Jetzer was solemnized at Holy Name Catholic church here on Nov. 28, 1896, by the late Rev. Msgr. D.F. Thill. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last Thanksgiving.
Mrs. Jetzer was a faithful member of Holy Name parish and was affiliated with the St. Ann’s Altar and Christian Mothers’ society and the Mission society.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters: Mrs. Joseph (Olivia) Ney, Sheboygan, Mrs. Demo (Lucia) Evanoff, Sheboygan Falls and Mrs. William (Loretta) Ney, Milwaukee; four sons, Joseph Jr., Robert, and Norbert, all of Sheboygan, and Carl, Cedar Grove; 19 grandchildren; two brothers, Dr. John Junck and Anton Junck, Sheboygan, and a sister, Mrs. Emma Weinkauf, Sheboygan. She was preceded in the death by three sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held at Gerend’s Funeral home followed by a requiem high mass at Holy Name church. Rt. Rev. Msgr. Philipp Dreis will be the celebrant and burial will be made in Calvary Cemetery.
