Elsie was born September 14, 1935 in Smokey Junction, Tennessee to Russell and Erva (Carroll) Lowe.
Elsie was born and raised in Oneida, Tennessee. She lived her adult life mostly in Oregon and a short time in California. She loved to sew and made many beautiful quilts. Elsie was a wonderful cook. She was generous and believed that people should help family and others.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Fordice; daughter Judy Lynn Thomas; brothers Jacob Lowe, Herbert Lowe, Onva Lowe, Rexford Lowe. sister Hazel Mays.
Survived by daughter Lois Jean Foster of Warrenton, OR; sister Mazel Thompson of Oneida, TN ; brother Floyd Lowe of Winchester, IN.
