Miss Nan D Nealis, 1212 Main St, Avoca, died Wednesday in Mercy Hospital after an illness. Born in Avoca, daughter of the late Thomas and Mary O'Brien Nealis, she was a retired registered nurse and was a graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of St Mary's Church, Avoca. Surviving are two sisters, Miss Mae Nealis and Mrs Elizabeth Neary, both of Avoca, a niece and a nephew. Funeral will be Thursday from the AF O'Malley FH, 728 Main St, Avoca, with mass in St Mary's Church, Avoca. Interment, parish cemetery. ~Scranton (PA) Times, Wed 4 Feb 1981
