Mrs Fannie Florence Ellison Died yesterday at 1:35pm at the Moore nursing home where she has been a resident since September 1 1949.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2:00 pm at the Presbyterian Church with Reverend MQ Stevenson officiating.
internment will be in the Fairview Cemetery next to the body of her son Earl who died July 15 1949. The body will lie in state from noon till the funeral hour.
Fannie Florence Gray was born July 21 1874 in Ripley County Indiana the daughter of John W Gray and Celia Ann Cummins Gray.
At the age of seven she accompanied her parents in a covered wagon to settle in Council Grove Kansas.
On September 28 1889 she married Samuel Ellison they lived in Council Grove and Emporia until his death in 1928, After that she made her home with her Daughter Mrs H K Holtzclaw in Bartlesville Oklahoma.
She is survived by a son M W Ellison of Havana two daughters Mrs Holtzclaw of Bartlesville and Mrs Earl McAuley of Emporia.
two brothers Roy and Henson Gray of Americus. And also a sister. Other survivors are 17 grandchildren, 11 great grandchlidren, and a great great grandchild.
