Myrta L. Manor, 96, of West Junction Rd., Chillicothe, died 9:07 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2008, in Heartland of Chillicothe, following a short illness. Myrta was born May 9, 1911, in Vinton County, Ohio, to the late Dayton and Nancy Saltz Fout. In September, 1927, she married Edward G. Manor, who died in November, 1954.
Surviving are; a son, Wayne (Laverna – "Cindy") Manor, of Riga, Michigan; a daughter, Darlene Clifford, of McArthur, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 24 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruby Harper, of Circleville; many nieces and nephews and special friends, Armarilla Manor Hasley, of McEwen, TN and Betty Manor, of Monroe, MI. She was predeceased by sons, Herman and David Manor, brothers, Clifford, Jennings, Chancey and Dale Fout and sisters, Cora Thornton, Manerva Davis and Emma Arganbright.
Mrs. Manor was a retired restaurant cook.
Services were entrusted to Ware Funeral Home of Chillicothe, Ohio.
