Clifford E. Fout
Cliff Fout and Jesse Smallridge were my Dad's two favorite uncles. Both doted on him, and both died in 1975. There probably never was a kinder, nor more honest man than Cliff Fout ever lived in Vinton County. I never knew Cliff to say a cross word to anyone. I wish it had been possible for me to have been in Ohio to attend Cliff's funeral. He left me with a lot of fond memories.
