Elmer married one of my great grandmother, Eliza Ella (Salts) Smallridge's sisters, Nancy S. Salts on December 11, 1892.
Elmer moved his new wife into the log cabin in which he was born. All 9 of their children were born there.
At the time of her passing, my great-great aunt Nancy was 100 years and 5 months old.
Besides their 9 children, they had 32 grandchildren, 86 great-grandchildren, and 40 great-great grandchildren.
