Mrs. Amelia Richards, 56, widow of Jake Richards, 927 Thomas street, native of D'Iberville and a resident of Biloxi 41/2 months, died at 3 a.m. Sunday. She leaves a son George Richards, Biloxi, two daughters, Melinda(George) Gilbert and Margerite (Anthony) Pons four grandchildren, Miss Anna Mae Pons, Betty Mary Ellen and Kenneth Gilbert, five brothers: Joseph, Biloxi, Leon, D'Iberville Walter, Biloxi, Lawrence, D'Iberville Alphonse, D'Iberville and two sisters, Mrs. Paul Gilly. Biloxi and Miss Mildred Seymour, Biloxi.
The funeral was held this afternoon from the Pons home with services under the auspices of the Epworth Methodist Church by Rev. D.E. Vickers.
