Ernest IRVINE, 80, R.R. 2, Rochester, Lake Manitou, died at 3 p.m. Sunday (April 10, 1977) at his home of a heart attack. He had been ill several months. Mr. Irvine was born April 13, 1896, at Talma to Stephen Clinton and Sarah Catherine RICKEL IRVINE and had lived his entire life in Fulton county. His first marriage was to Pearl Florence BIGGS in 1917; she died in 1956. He married Helen WELLER TALBOTT in 1967; she survives. He was retired from the Rochester Bridge Company and Rochester Metal products where he had been employed as a welder. Surviving with Mrs. Irvine are three daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Florence) JEFFERIES, Mrs. Clarence (Mildred) WENTZEL, and Mrs. Benile (Merry) BERRY, all of Rochester; seven step-children, Kenneth TALBOTT, Elkhart; Ronald TALBOTT, Hinckley, O.; Gerald TALBOTT, Kewanna; James and Doyne TALBOTT, York, Penn.; Mrs. Eugene (Joan) RIFFLE, East Gary, and Mrs. Carl (Lois) MILLER, Rochester; three grandchildren, Edward and Ernest JEFFERIES, and William WENTZEL, all of Rochester; thirteen step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and five step-great-grandchildren. Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home with the Rev. David HEYWARD officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday after 2 p.m.
