Carrie D. Kortman 82, of 116 Cherry Street.Pennsville, died Monday in Salem County Memorial Hospital after a five month ilness.
She was the wife of the late Herman who died in 1961. A member of hte XYZ Senior Citizens Club of Pennsville, she was a 47 year resident of Pennsville.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs Dorothy K. Ballie and Mrs Mabel K. laidler, both of Pennsville and Mrs Marjorie H. McAllister of Alanta; five sisters, Mrs Anna Mae Davis of Pennsville; mrs Florence Sheppard, Mrs Bessie Pangburn, and Mrs Marie Harris, all of Millville and Stella Dixon of Pedricktown; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Services will be held 11 a.m. at the Laughery Funeral Home, Pennsville, where friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be at Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown.
