Nora Irine "Rine" Bice and her twin sister, Ida Lovine Bice, were born on 2 February 1889 in Granbury, Texas, to Lafayette Bice Jr and Lillian Angeline Ercanbrack. As children, they attended Carter's School House in Splendora, Texas. Rine married much older Vedo L LaSalle; they had two children, Juliuse and Maggie LaSalle. Rine Bice LaSalle died, 1 March 1911, aged 22, in Bryan, Texas, and was buried at Wixon Cemetery in Wixon Valley, Texas.
