Mrs. August Lenz, 63, died Monday evening at her home in the town of Newton following a Heart attack.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. from the Wattaw, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home and at 2 p.m. from the Trinity Lutheran church in the town of Liberty with the Rev. E. C. Schroeder officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Mrs. Lenz, nee Mary Leider, was born in Germany on March 10, 1880, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gottfried Leider and came to this country with her parents as a child. The family settled in the town of Liberty. On Dec 17. 1898, she married Mr. Lenz. The couple lived in the town of Liberty until 10 years ago when they moved to the town of Newton.

Survivors are the widower; eight daughters, Mrs. Severin Stiefvater, Mrs. Leonard Klassen, Mrs. Joseph Manzer, Mrs. Edwin Koppen and Mrs. Anton Stubler, all of Sheboygan, Mrs. Arthur Free of St. Nazianz, and Mrs. Otto Laack and Mrs. Raymond Pleuss of this city; three sons, Wilbert of Sheboygan. Herbert of the town of Meeme and Private First Class Edwin H. of Camp McCoy. Wis.: four sisters, Mrs. Fred Schmidt of Chilton, Mrs. Ernst Schmidt and Mrs. Herbert Jantz of this city, and Mrs. Frank Ribbeck of Plymouth; six brothers, Herman Leider of Birnamwood, Charles. Adolph and Edwin of this city, Teddie of the town of Liberty and Paul of Pigeon Lake; 20 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The body may be viewed at the funeral home from Wednesday at 7 p.m. to the time of the funeral services on Friday.

Inscription on headstone for death date has to be incorrect since obit says she died in1943.
