Former Local Resident Dies Monday At Post Lake

Mrs. William Koeppen, 59, former local resident, died Monday morning at Post Lake, Wisconsin, where she made her home for the past 15 years.
The body will be sent Wednesday afternoon to the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. from the funeral home and two o'clock from the Liberty Lutheran church. Burial will be made in the adjoining cemetery.
Born In Germany
Mrs. Koeppen, nee Augusta Leider, was born in Germany January 13, 1877. She came to this country at the age of four. In 1899 she was married to William Koeppen, who survives. The couple lived here after their marriage until 15 years ago, when they moved to Post Lake where they conducted a resort.
Survivors besides the widower include one son, Edwin at home; her mother, Mrs. Augusta Leider, city; six brothers, Adolph and Edwin Leider of this city, Herman and Charles of Birhamwood, and Edward and Paul of Liberty; and five sisters, Mrs. Ernst Schmidt and Mrs. Herb Jantz of Manitowoc. Mrs. August Lenz of Newton, Mrs. Fred Schmidt of Chilton and Mrs. Frank Ribbeck of Plymouth.
The body can be viewed at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 p.m. Wed until time of services.
