Edward Leider, 80. of 718 S. 28th St., Mamtowoe, died Monday noon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Town of Liberty, Manitowoc County. The Rev. Henry Koch will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Leider was born Feb. 19, 1890, in Town of Manitowoc Rapids, son of the late Gottfried and Augusta Yolke (sic) Leider. He married Anne Selle Aug. 30, 1910, in Liberty. She preceded him in death Nov. 19, 1959. The couple farmed in Liberty until retiring in 1957. Mr. Leider made his home with his daughter and son-in-law until she passed away three years ago. He continued to reside with his son-in-law, Fred Ansorge, until the time of his death.
Survivors include a brother, Paul, of Pigeon Lake; a sister, Mrs. Emma Schmidt, of Manitowoc; three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A daughter, a great grandchild, five brothers and five sisters preceded him in death,
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, until Wednesday noon and then at the church where the body will lie in state until the time of services.
