Mrv Fred Schmidt. 86. a former Chilton resident, of 545 S. 30th St., Manitowoc, died Monday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. C. R. Rosenow will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Schmidt, ??? Emma Leider, was born May 10, 1886 at Manitowoc Rapids, daughter of the late Gottfried and Augusta Gohlke Leider. She was married to Fred Schmidt May 27, 1905, in the Town of Liberty. They resided in Sheboygan Falls, the Town of Liberty and Chilton before moving to Manitowoc in 1966. Her husband preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters. Miss Viola and Mrs. Meta Koepsel of Manitowoc; a brother. Paul, of Valders: four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Two daughters, five sisters and six brothers preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home. Manitowoc, from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday until noon Wednesday and then at the church until the time of service.
