Funeral services for Lulu L. Mueller, 88, resident of the Morningside Nursing Center since 1985, who died Tuesday, May 22, at the Morningside Nursing Center were held at Ballhorn Funeral Chapel. Rev. Keith D. Selberg, assistant pastor of St. John's United Church of Christ, officiated. Entombment was at Garden Terrace mausoleum.
The former Lulu L. Spettel was born February 20, 1902, in the town of Eaton, Manitowoc County, to the late Jacob and Clara Strassman Spettel. She attended a district school in town of Eaton.
On Feb. 5, 1921, she married Hilbert O. Mueller of the Town of Mosel. In 1930, Mr. and Mrs. Mueller moved to Sheboygan. Mr. Mueller died in 1935.
Survivors include one son; one daughter; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren; five sisters, Elsie (Walter) Voight, Ceila (Ferdinand) Schneider and Clarie Spettel of New Holstein; and Verna (Roland) Beckman and Len Doris (William) Buchholz of Kiel. Preceding her in death were one son Hilbert F. Mueller of Sheboygan; two sisters, Stella Ibe of Chilton and Viola Vogel of New Holstein; and one granddaughter, Linda Lu Wager.
