Elizabeth was the daughter of Henry L. Blanford and Elizabeth Livers. She married Clement Parsons III on 25 Feb 1825 in Washington County, Kentucky and where they had their eldest three children-John, William and Elizabeth. They lived for several years in Louisiana where sons, Thomas and Joseph were born. They then moved to Indian Creek, Monroe, Missouri and two more sons, Robert and Richard, were born. After Clement died in 29 Aug 1865, she moved to Mendocino Co., California with her son, Thomas and his family.
