The former Gertrude Moritz was born July 1, 1909 in Kiel, a daughter of Anton and Anna Mahlich Moritz.
She attended Kiel school and was graduated from Kiel High School in 1927.
On May 10, 1930, she was married to Harvey Ninmer in Kiel.
Mr. Ninmer died April 15, 1967.
She was employed for 25 years as a bookkeeper at Lake to Lake Dairy, Kiel.
Since 1976 she had lived in Orlando.
She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Delano (Diane) Goodrich of Orlando; a son, James of Kiel; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. William Brieger and Mrs. Leo Hein, and a brother, Manfred, all of Kiel.
A sister and a brother preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, preceded by brief family rites at 9:30 a.m. at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel. The Rev. Francis Kerscher, pastor, will be celebrant of the Mass. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Town of Schleswig.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday.
A wake service will be held there at 8 pm. Friday.
