Mrs. Jim (Hattie) Gerik, 77, of 3203 Dutton died Monday night in San Fernando, California.
Services are pending at Kotch Funeral Home in West.
Mrs. Gerik was a native of Bomarton. She lived in Ross and West before moving to Waco 40 years ago. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and KJZT Society No. 117. Her husband died last April.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Walter (Evelyn) Strnadel of Granada Hills, Calif.; one son, Bernard Gerik of Canoga Park, Calif.; three brothers, Eugene Cocek of West, John Cocek of Tours and Bob Cocek of La Marque; one sister, Mrs. Mary Haidusek of West; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
