Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. March 26 at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services were held at 4 p.m. March 27 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Msgr. B. J. Zientek officiating. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery in West.
A Memorial Mass was celebrated at 6:30 p.m. March 31 in St. Mary's Catholic Church in West, Msgr. B. J. Zientek as celebrant.
Mr. Cocek was born December 27, 1895, in Hill County. He lived in Bomarton seven years and has been a resident of West for 60 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and KJT Society No. 31.
He was an Army veteran of World War I, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4819 of West and the American Legion Post of West. He was married to Mary Gerik on November 15, 1920. She died March 4, 1980.
Survivors include two sons, Amos Cocek and Jerry Cocek, both of West; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Joe Johnny Halamik, Alois Haidusek, Jerome Kallus, Bobby Lednicky, Freddie Gerik and Joe Cihlar.
Honorary pallbearers were Emil Fridel and members of V.F.W. Post 4819.
