Mrs. Joseph Muellenbach, 81, died Thursday morning at her home in Charlesburg (Calumet County). She had been ill several years. The former Regina Kolb, she was born in the Town of Charlestown, April 14, 1877, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kolbe. Her marriage to Mr. Muellenbach took place Feb. 11, 1908, at St. Martin Catholic Church, Charlestown. Mr. Muellenbach, a farmer, died in October 1936. She was a member of the Christian Mothers and Mission societies of St. Charles Parish, Charlesburg.
Surviving are two sons, John and Frank, Charlesburg; four daughters, Mrs. Edward (Veronica) Karls, Marytown, Miss Mary Muellenbach, at home, Mrs. John (Leona) Karls and Mrs. Clarence (Martha) Geiser, Chilton; 20 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also surviving are a brother, John Kolbe, Charlestown, and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Muellenbach and Mrs. Mary Keuler, both of Charlesburg. Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
The Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St. Charles Church by the Rev. Francis J. Melchiors, pastor. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
