IN MEMORIAM
AUNT ADELL
Dear Aunt Adell, we say goodbye,
Tho' you shall live as long as we,
For deep enshrined within out hearts
You live in Memory.

The memory of a soul, both good and kind
Whose duty she plainly could see;
She bravely carried on for four score years,
A truly great woman was she.

No task too mean or lowly,
No sorrow too great to still,
Each time when trial became her lot,
She answered "It Must be God's Will"

There were days when many children played
In and out the open door.
There were long, lonely lonesome days,
When "Pappy" came home no more.

But he came one morning early,
And took her back with him.
To the other children who waited anxiously,
To welcome her back with him.

We lose an honored mother,
We lose a faithful friend,
But our loss is someone's gain.
And this life is not the end.

May you find all joy there, mother
Supreme solace while reaping what
you have sown..
Freed from the pains of this mortal life.
May you find peace and love in that
Eternal Home.
