Elsie Mae Dudley,80,of 588 N.Delphine Ave. Waynesboro,died Thursday evening (Sept.3,1991)In Waynesboro Community Hospital.
She was born June 3,1911 in Augusta County, a daughter of Robert Samuel "Sam" Brown and Fannie McDaniel Brown.
Mrs.Dudley was a member of the Blue Ridge Chapel Church of the Brethren,where she served as a deconess and was active in the church choir.
She was a former employee of Waynesboro Community Hospital.
Survivors include her husband Andrew W.Dudley;two daughters,,both of Waynesboro;one brother Earl H.Brown of Crimora,11 grandchildren,one great-grandaughter;and a number of nieces and nephews.
A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Waynesboro chapel of Etter Funeral Home by the Revs. Earl Hammer and Bill Fortune, and Dr.Jon T. Diefenthaler.
Burial will be in Augusta Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
