Nova P. Moore. Farmer Of Northwest Of Baring Died Last Thursday
Nova P. Moore, 63, a farmer of 6 1/2 miles northwest of Baring, died about 11 o'clock Thursday night, Feb. 29, 1968, at the Grim-Smith Hospital in Kirksville where he had been a patient since Feb. 19. Mr. Moore spent his entire life on the farm where he was born.
Funeral services were at 10 o'clock Monday morning at St. Aloysius Church in Baring with the Rev. Fred Yehle officiating and burial was in the church cemetery. Rosary services were Sunday evening at the Kriegshauser Funeral Home here.
Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Linda, a student at the University of Missouri in Columbia, two brothers, Charles and Ray Moore, and a sister, Mrs. Alice Hilt, all of Baring.
Mr. Moore was born Jan. 29, 1905, a son and one of the 12 children of John and Anna McFadden Moore. He was married Oct. 5, 1939, at Ames, Iowa, to Miss Mary Petty of there.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Bert, Frank, Earnest, Willie and Leo, and three sisters, Edith, Irene and Margaret.
