Lillian A. Haffarnan
Mrs. Lillian Ann Haffarnan, 92, Edina, died at 3 a.m. Tuesday (Aug. 17, 1982) at the Hostel House Nursing Home in Edina where she had resided for the past four months.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Thursday (Aug. 19, 1982) at St. Joseph Church in Edina with Msgr. Charles Pattreson officiating.
Rosary services were at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Kriegshauser Funeral Home in Edina. Burial was in St. Joseph cemetery in Edina.
Born July 20, 1890, at Millwood, she was the daughter of Daniel and Catherine (Spaulding) Mudd. On Nov. 12, 1917, at Edina, she married John Haffarnan, who preceded her in death in 1966.
Also preceding her in death were a son, four brothers and five sisters.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marjory Mathews of Kirksville; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Cleary of Edina and two grandsons.
Mrs. Haffarnan was a member of St. Joseph Church in Edina and the St. Anne Sodality.
