Clarence J. Johnsrud, 84, of 1500 N. Third St., Manitowoc, died Thursday morning in Holy Family Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Edmund E. Olson will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Johnsrud was born Nov. 18, 1894, in the Town of Manitowoc, son of the late Halvor and Lora Johnson Juhnsrud. He attended Manitowoc Public Schools and married Elnora W. Luebke Oct. 11, 1920, in Valders. Mr. Johnsrud was employed with Mirro Aluminum Company as a foreman at Plant 2 for more than 40 years, retiring in 1960. He was a veteran, serving in the United States Army during World War I, and was a member of American Legion Drews Bleser Post No. 88 of Manitowoc.

Survivors include his wife, Elnora, a brother, John of Manitowoc, two sisters, Mrs. John (Esther) Wright of Glendale, Calif., and Mrs. Rinhart (Irene) Peppler of Manitowoc and nieces and nephews. His brothers and a sister preceded him in death.

Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and in the church from noon Saturday until the time of service. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
