Mrs. Anna Whipkey Todd, widow of William H. Todd of Moundsville, W. Va., died Friday, April 25, 1952, at 9:15 a.m., at the home of her son, Vere Todd, Moundsville, after an illness of the past year. Death resulted from a fractured hip which occurred some time ago.

She was born in Aleppo Township, Greene County, a daughter of the late J. C. Whipkey and Lydia Lohr Whipkey and had spent most of her life in the Cameron, W. Va., area. In addition to her son, Vere, she leaves the following brothers and sisters: Elmer Whipkey, Cameron; James and Jesse, of Aleppo, Pa.; Ray Whipkey, Bristoria; Mrs. Effie Wilhelm and Mrs. George Phillips, both of Waynesburg. Six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also are living.

She was a member of the Aleppo Brethren Church and the Order of Eastern Star Lodge, Lorraine Chapter No. 29. She was a past worthy matron of the OES and was a member of the I.S.I.S. of Wheeling, W. Va.
