William Franklin Nichols, 73, of 704 Elm St., died Sunday at Scioto Memorial Hospital.
A native of Greenup County, Ky., he was a retired Norfolk and Western Railway employe.
He is survived by his wife, Prascovia Nichols; a son James of Mason; three sisters, Mrs. Eliza Abdon, 1313 High St., Mrs. Zelma Boggs of South Shore, and Mrs. Mary Fry of 306 Ohio Ave., New Boston; three brothers, Earl of West Portsmouth, Robert of Highland Bend, and Orville, 812 Broadway St.; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services are to be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Morton Funeral Home in New Boston, with Rev. Dewey Wright officiating and burial in Siloam Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight.
