MRS HENRY C. BADE PASSES AWAY SATURDAY AT PLYMOUTH
Plymouth—Mrs. Henry C. Bade, 82, well known Plymouth resident, died Saturday at Plymouth Hospital. Though she had been in ill health for 10 years she had been a patient at the hospital for two weeks. The former Anna Kroos, she was born Feb. 21, 1859, in Sheboygan, daughter of William and Theresa Kroos. She attended the Trinity Lutheran parochial school and on Nov. 3, 1878, married Henry C. Bade, the Rev. Zorn of Trinity Lutheran church, Sheboygan officiating. After their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Bade moved to Plymouth and had resided here since. Mrs. Bade was very active as a member of St. John's Lutheran church and the Ladies' Aid and Missionary circle.
On Nov. 3, 1941, the couple celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary at a celebration arranged by the children.
Survivors are the husband, four children, Walter A., Robert A., Elwood J., of Plymouth, and Mrs. Leon (Nelda) Griese, Sheboygan Falls; six grandsons, one great grandchild, and one sister, Mrs. Mart Koehn, Sheboygan. One son, Alvin died at the age of 31, and the following brothers and sisters preceded her in death; William, Henry, Julius, and Max Kroos, Mrs. H. Aiken, Mrs. J. Steimle, and Mrs. William Muth.
