Mrs. Samuel H. Meharg

Mrs. Laura M. Meharg, 96, of 122 Chester ave, Coatesville, wife of the late Samuel H. Meharg, died at her home yesterday after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Meharg was born in Homeville, Chester County, daughter of the late Edmond and Susanna Broomall Hatton. She had resided in Coatesville for the last 65 years, and was previously a resident of the Oxford area. She was a member of the Olivet Methodist Church of Coatesville for more than 50 years,a member of the Ladies' Bible Class of the church and a life member of the Clifford O. Mullen American Legion Auxiliary of Coatesville.

Surviving are a son, John Franklin Meharg, of Modena; two daughters, Elizabeth, wife of Theodore Daniels of Coatesville RD 1, and Emma Meharg, at home; 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Laura M. Meharg, 96, of 122 Chester ave, Coatesville, wife of the late Samuel H. Meharg, died at her home yesterday after a lengthy illness.
