W. Martin Meharg, 60, husband of Anna Smedley Meharg, suffered a heart attack and died in his sleep early this morning at his home, 1802 Olive st. He had been under a doctor's care for a heart condition.
A son of Laura Hatton Meharg, Coatesville, he was born in Faggs Manor, and had lived in Caln township the past 35 years. Meharg was employed as a machinist by Lukens Steel Company. He was a member of the Brandywine Fire Company.
Surviving him in addtiont to his wife and mother are the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Anna Howe, Miss Emma Meharg and Samuel Meharg of Coatesville; and John Meharg, Modena.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. from Archie S. Maclean's funeral home, Fifth ave. and Lincoln Hwy. Interment will be in Grove Methodist Cemetery. Friends have been invited to call at the funeral home Wednesday evening.

In the obituary of W. Martin Meharg, of 1802 Olive st., the name of a sister, Mrs. Theodore J. Daniels, of Modena, was unintentionally omitted from the survivors.
