Emma F. Meharg, 88, of Coatesville died on Friday, July 9, 1999, at Mainline Nursing and Rehabilitation in Willistown.
Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Samuel H. and Laura Hatton Meharg.
She was a 1929 graduate of Coatesville High School.
She was employed by the New Idea Laundry for 25 years.
She was a member of Olivet United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the choir.
She was a volunteer for Meal on Wheels and the Chester County Association for the Blind.
She was the last of her family.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 13, at the Harris Funeral Home in Coatesville.
