Henry and with his brother Solomon remained in Maryland when their parents and large family group moved to Ohio in 1826. Descendants of his son, William were living at Van Wert, Ohio, the home of his brother Isaac. Henry was married twice and had several children by each wife. Henry Stinemetz was married to Elizabeth Spickler on the 29th of March, 1816, and they had six or more children; (1) Mary Stinemetz 1817-1892, married George Henry Snyder 1816-1894; (2) Hannah Stinemetz 1819-1866, married John Peter Ardinger 1814-1900; (3) William Stinemetz 1821-1895, married Mary A. NOTE: ! ! ! ! Usually spelled STINEMETZ, but
STEINMETZ, Steinemetz, Stinemets, Stinemates, Stinmetz, Stimatze, Stinemetze and Stinmets, are also commonly found as well as several other variations. I have confirmed most, if not all are of the same family line regardless of how it was spelled. Spellings vary in hundreds of tombstones and documents but links are certain. TJD2012
