Mrs. Adolph Riemer, 60, of 819 Summit St., Manitowoc, died Sunday at home following a coronary attack.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bethany Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Robert Sawall will officiate and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.
Mrs. Riemer, nee Malitta Mattes, was born March 31, 1908, in the Town of Rockland, daughters of the late John and Anna Laurence Mattes. She attended schools in Collins and was married to Adolph Riemer Feb. 24, 1932, at Waukegan, Ill. The operated a cheese factory west of ST. Nazianz until 1946, when they moved to Manitowoc.
Mrs. Riemer was employed at Strodthoff's Grocery Store and Faugust Foot-So-Port Shoes, Manitowoc, and was employed at the time of her death at Stangel's Super Value Store, Manitowoc, in the produce department.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Elmer Deffke of Rt. 4, Chilton, Mrs. Harvey Kleist of Collins; two brothers, Rolland and John of Collins; and nieces and nephews. A brother preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, until 11 a.m. Tuesday and then at the church.
