RACINE – Mrs. Edward J. Lizdas (nee: Leone M. Johnson), 2507 Hamilton Avenue, age 65, passed away March 3, 1974 in St. Mary's Hospital.

Mrs. Lizdas was born in Racine on June 25, 1908. She was a member of St. Rose Church and the Altar Society.

Surviving are her husband, Edward J.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Henry (Marceline) Turkowski, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas (Mary) Neu, all of Racine, and Mr. and Mrs. Clifford (Dolores) Holt, Burlington, Wisconsin; three sons and daughters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony (Jeannine) Rondon, Orlando, Florida, Mr. and Mrs. Martin (Janet) Rondon, Bakersfield, California, and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas (Marion) Lizdas of Racine; four sisters and one brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John (Helen) Bellovary, Mrs. George (Florence) Foldy, all of Racine, Mrs. Charles (Irene) Moye, Detroit, Michigan and Mrs. Arthur (Garnet) Berg of Florida; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Russell (Roma) Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Martin (Hazel) Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley (Marie) Johnson, all of Racine, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard (Bernice) Johnson, Oakland, California, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Alice) Johnson, Florida; a brother-in-law, Fred Rosinsky of Racine; 27 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. in the Acklam Funeral Home and 11 a.m. in St. Rose Church, the Reverend Daniel J. Garvey will officiate. Interment will be in the family lot, Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday after 5 p.m. at the Acklam Funeral Home, 729 Grand Avenue. The Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 7:30.
