VICTOR P. CHRISTEL

Victor P. Christel, 60, of 1025 Lincoln Blvd., Manitowoc,
died unexpectedly Monday evening at his home following a
coronary attack.
Private family funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at Holy
Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Leo Schmitt
will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mr. Christel was born July 17, 1903 at Valders, son of
I.H. Christel, and the late Ida Jaeger Christel. He married
Alberta Matznick April 9, 1931, at Clarks Mills. They lived
at Valders for 14 years before moving to Manitowoc. He had
been employed at Bloomer Buick-Pontiac Co., Chilton, and
was a member of Elks Lodge 687.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, a son, his father,
of Kiel; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Biederwolf of Brillion
and Mrs. Norman Orth of Kiel; eight brothers, Roman of
Lake Winnebago, Arnold of New Holstein, John of La Crosse,
and Lawrence, Eugene, Raymond, James and Omar of Kiel;
and seven grandchildren. A brother, Jerome, and a granddaughter,
Lynn Marie Christel, preceded him in death.
There will be no visitation rites. The family has requested
that memorials be made to the Coronary Extensive Care Unit
at Holy Family Hospital.
