ERVIN BECKER

Ervin S. Becker, 59, of 1109 S. 20th St., Manitowoc, died Friday
morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Schneider-Mittnacht
Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
A nephew, the Rev. Kenneth Frozena, will officiate and burial will
be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Becker ws born Oct. 30, 1913, at Manitowoc, son of the late John
and Mary Ziarnik Becker. He attended Manitowoc schools. He married
Esther Dempski Sept. 20, 1934, at Manitowoc. He operated a grocery
store until 1945, when he began employment at Anheuser-Busch Inc.,
Malting Co., Manitowoc, retiring because of a disability in 1969.
He was a charter member of St. Mary Young Men's Club.
Survivors include his wife and three daughters; a brother Anthony,
of Manitowoc; six sisters, Mrs. Valeria Tadych, Mrs. Clara Osieczanek,
Mrs. Mary Denk, Mrs. Felix Frozena and Mrs. Helen Novak, of Manitowoc
and Mrs. Walter Erickson, of Arizona; and two grandchildren. A brother,
two sisters and a grandchild preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday, where a
prayer service will be at 7 p.m. by Rev. Thaddeus Koszarek. Harry
Bergner is in charge of funeral arrangements.
