Minnie Jenson
CONCORDIA — Minnie Jenson, 88, Concordia, died Sunday, May 2, 1999, at Sunset Nursing Center, Concordia. Mrs. Jenson was born Minnie Sjogren on Nov. 4, 1910, at Concordia. She was a former resident of Phillipsburg, Hays, Denver, and Belleville, moving to Concordia in 1995. She owned her own bookkeeping business, was a bookkeeper for Warneke Box Co., was a member and secretary of Belleville United Presbyterian Church, and was a member of BM Chapter of P.E.O., Belleville, and Leah Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, Concordia.
Her husband, James, died in 1952.
Survivors include a sister, Segrid Pishny of Waterville.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel, Concordia, the Rev. Marlene Yanik officiating. A private burial will precede the service in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia.
Memorials may be made to Belleville Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 325 W. Sixth, Concordia 66901.
