Mr. Cantrell was born May 5, 1916 in Johnson County, the son of Tom and Julie Love Cantrell. He was a resident of Oil Springs and had worked in
the oil fields.
Surviving are his wife, Manda Blanton Cantrell; three sons, Eldors of Oil Springs, Ford and Dean both of Springfield, OH; two daughters, Mary Ann McKenzie and Gaynell Digiancano, both of Springfield; two brothers, Burl Sr. and Bryan, both of Oil Springs; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle
Cantrell of Dayton, OH and Mrs. Hazel Cochran, Wittensville; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, Dec 28, in the Pigeon Freewill Baptist church at Oil Springs with Rev. John F. Ratliff and Rev. Charles Stapleton officiating.
Burial will be in the family cemetery at Oil Springs with Paintsville funeral Home handling arrangements.
