She was born June 10, 1871, in the home where she died, the daughter of John R. and Ella Carleton, and had always lived there. Miss Carleton was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Camden.
Surviving are two brothers, James and Alonzo Carleton; also five sisters, Mrs. Addie Freeman, Mrs. Sarah Helmer, Mrs. Laura Whaley, Mrs. Susie Yorton, all of Camden, and Mrs. Merritt Babcock, McConnellsville.
The funeral will be held at her home at 2 p. m. Monday, with the Rev. Alfred Martin officiating; burial in Forest Park Cemetery.
